Sub-femtosecond timing of the linear momentum transfer to the photoelectron in multi-photon ionization
With the attoclock we measured how much momentum is transferred to the photoelectron in the direction of laser propagation with sub-femtosecond resolution at high laser intensities, where multiple photons are involved in the ionization process. This has been an unresolved question.

The International Society for Optics and Photonics, SPIE, awards the 2020 Gold Medal, the highest honour the society bestows, to Ursula Keller.
Record-high 350-W average output power from an ultrafast laser
We demonstrate a SESAM-modelocked thin-disk oscillator delivering 350‑W output power, which improves the previous long-standing record of 275 W obtained in 2012. Several competing effects prevented power scaling beyond 275 W until now.
