The photoelectric effect in stereo
We used attosecond laser pulses to measure the time evolution of photoelectric effect in molecules. From our results we can deduce the exact location of a photoionization event.
White Paper Photonics Switzerland
Industry and science jointly recommend a funding focus "TECHNOLOGY CLUSTER PHOTONICS" for Switzerland's national research programs. The White Paper Photonics Switzerland (co-authored by Ursula Keller) will be distributed to policy-makers and industry representatives, starting today.
European Inventor Award in Lifetime Achievement
Ursula Keller has received the European Inventor Award 2018 in the category "Lifetime achievement" for her research in ultrafast lasers.
When nuclei catch up with electrons
Attosecond measurements on ionization dynamics performed on molecules typically assume that the nuclei can be considered as "frozen in their original positions". However, even in the attosecond time regime, this is not always the case.
